tunes

This is a colection of tunes i created, between late 90's and now. Sadly its hard to put a date on each. They all ofcourse reflect each point of distinct phases i've been thru.

Some cronologic order here, the calm and mellow ones were done recently and they start the playlist, towards the past for techno style and hardcore gender.

I used Fruity Loops and sometimes, Sound Forge for post production.

Quantcast

Processing

An experiment that was programmed in Processing.
This kind of dancing Mandala awakes when you click on it, and changes position smoothly to another diferent random one.

The Same Across Highlands

A short tryout with video+sound hardcore editing using as material from daily tv stuff, like the weather girl and some ads... the footage was done in a compact digital camera and hardcuted in premiere, sound forge was used for the sound. (you can fullscreen it - its in high definition)

Anticipation

Having created this track myself using fruity loops, i felt like doing some kind of sync-video using mainly stills and effects, where i used premiere, in Nov 2005.
Here is the result (you can fullscreen it - its in high definition)

Untitled MLE

This wonderflow! track was written by DNCN, Manchester.
I heard it, loved it, slept over it (whilst filming it!) and this is what came out, after some editing, all in the early 2004.

Notshake

This daring tune from Jay Coxx - Notmusic, inspired me this video that i filmed and edited back in Manchester, December 2003.
Lots of fun during the making, editing, but surely not by drinking that thing..

UFootball, a casual game

This game was my response to the 4th Casual Gameplay Design Competition organized by jayisgames.com, october 2007.

Its an action game where you play 1-to-1 against the computer using simulated physics to make the ball contact more real.
The computer is not so smart but hey, maybe some aliens aren't aswell!

It was programmed in flash actionscript 2.

Sound Credits also to João Cunha.

stop-frame animations

This is a small set of a broader colection of experimental stop-frame animated films that i shot for Vjing, and converted here to small animated gifs, to share online:

realtime 3d clips

A colection of diferent small sessions of realtime 3d graphics using c++/directx for Vj purposes, this sessions were all recorded in Berlim around June 2003.

The engine simulates points and real physics springs connecting them on a 3d space, where one can use MIDI knobs in real-time to access and explore this texturized virtual world.
